256fes/low poly thread!

in short, 256fes is a challenge where you create a 3d model using a 256px texture, and try to keep it under 256 faces.

my first entry is an attempt at recreating a scene from the manga Junket Bank



through the process i was accidentally tracking vertices lol
final as is came out to 51 faces and 134 verts!I still had free space to add more, but decided to wrap it up since i'd largely accomplished what i'd set out to do.

I love the idea of this challenge, so i made this thread to generally post anything else i make for it, feel free to join in yourself! or just talk about general 3d/low poly stuff

ohh I love the vibe with this little room. And yeah speaking of low poly, the one thing I made in 3d that I actually liked was this little tree. I posted it on yam quite awhile ago now actually > here <
(not sure how well our direct linking works on yam so this will be a good test, may have to just re-enter it in the url bar to see it)

the first time i clicked on the link, the website lagged and took a moment for everything to load in, within that time i didnt know what to look at and scrolled around losing my place before it could load right, so cant say it works the first time, but refreshing was quick and did lead me right to it XD

when you zoom into the tree, it looks like there's a skull/face on it  very cool!
