Self-explanatory title, but still. What are everyone's favorite numbers? And why?
Is there a backstory, a deep meaning behind it, or have you just taken a liking to it throughout your life?
"Numbers" in plural for those who are just like me and have trouble deciding between 2 or 3 different ones. :P
13, I like the fact that people call it unlucky, but it is my lucky number. and it just keeps showing up. i have a friend that says 7 just because that was the first one that comes to mind for her
my father says 52 because it 'follows him around (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nrxWiU_v9Qs)' (unrelated lol)
also you didnt even share yours!!
7 is a pretty common one yeah, used to be one of my favorites but 3 took the spot of 7 after a while honestly. xD
13 being a lucky number for you is probably weirder wherever you live since around the world there's different unlucky numbers :p But cool nonetheless! :D
And yes, I probably forgot about my own favorite number since I ended up messing with the text formatting options on the text editor xD
It is 41! For many reasons, one of them being the same as your father's reason. It follows me around! But apart from that it also holds a lot of value to me, I could go on a corny tangent about it but I usually prefer to just incorporate it in most of my works. :-X All I can say is that when I mention 41 being my favorite number, I mean that I know maybe too much about this one specific number and the dozens of different meanings it has... So yeah, 41. That's my number :p
oh this is a good one .... maybe 8..64...256.... all computer related numbers i like for computer related reasons
honorable mention to 420
4 feels good. It's divisible by 2. 2^2 also feels good. Perfectly even. Not too big like 8.
Honorable mention: all 2^x numbers, like GRIDHOG :) But only the positive ones, excluding 1 as it's not even.
Something like { 2^n | n ∈ N+, N != 1 } ?? probably wrote that incorrectly
bringing me back to my precalc days hotdog, nice answer!! That's two to the power of n where n is all positive natural numbers excluding 1, do i have that correct or am I a big stupid bumbling oaf that dont know nothin bout nothin
if you think so too.... its probably correct!
I was reminded of this thread when I learned about "happy numbers"
