BB26 - Wanted to ask this now, I'm a BIG fan of ttrpgs, I both host and play in them and have done for about 6, nearing 7 years, that's a LONG time and from when I was quite small.
Wanted to know if anyone here liked them, and if people had funny stories about them?
That and, I'd be up for maybe a campaign here or some other place if somebody wanted to do one or, if someone wanted me to do one.
dude I used to dm a bunch of dnd/dnd adjacent games. Usually the started and we didnt follow up lol. Never actually played myself though which I found slightly funny.
I remember finding out about it when I started highschool and thinking it was awesome as hell. I made my own version of the game and called it "beggars of castamere". I had a whole map and wood turned a bunch of little player pieces on the lathe. I didn't know you were supposed to start in a group so everyone put themselves on completely different parts of the map and nobody even met each other in game. We carried that on for a few weeks though at lunch it was pretty cool.
I had a small stint as a dm for a proper like weekly group but we only got through a few sessions. Same with a cyberpunk one that mainly consisted of everyone making characters then we played for like half an hour and left. I only found out I was dm'ing that one the night before so I had to rush getting a small story together and reading the rulebook but it was fun.
Not sure how many people on UP play ttrpgs but hopefully in the future UP will have some more users to ask around, might be cool to have a game. We could make a page on yam documenting campaigns or something... No promises but that might be cool lol
