Thanks! I love how it turned out, i sanded a playing card for it to have a cleaner base in the middle lmao. texture is super fun to play with especially when you can nicely unify everything with a palettize filter (krita) lol

His name is Kaburagi Houun. Junket Bank is a manga about a bank that hosts underground death game gambles, and he's one of the higher ups. nicknamed "papa", he's so far just a big loveable fatherly dude. hasn't done much yet on screen since he just showed up, but I like his smile and heart earrings  :)

whaaaaat I didnt know it was hand painted, the filter made it look digital but that adds a whole extra layer to this. super cool!

oh it is digital lmao but when i was painting over a normal playing card scan, the bg was distracting so i sanded the card and scanned it again and i like the effect that had. real playing card fake paint

;) but i'm glad it looks convincing! i do paint traditionally often so im picky about how digital paint looks.

Thanks! i'm excited about it, feels like one of those 'checkpoint' pieces that marks my improvement as an artist, like "this is the best thing i've made so far. i wonder whats next"  8)
