daaaang!!! these are both really good. I hear a lot of stuff like this on David Dean Burkhart's (https://www.youtube.com/@daviddeanburkhart) channel. I've been subscribed for years but only recently started looking into the new uploads as they roll out. I think you'll find a lot of great stuff with the same sad indie acoustic vibe. That's what I subscribed for back in highschool lol.
This is a new release I've had on repeat. Sort of similar but a little more of a country twang which I am usually not a fan of but this one nails it down really well.

This is a favorite of mine. After a brutal 12 or 14 hour shift welding, I would listen to this on the hour drive back to my lonely apartment. Although it's sad, I appreciated the uniqueness of that grief and misery. Things are so different now! But I'll always cherish those memories because they perfectly contrasted the joys of my life, making them that much sweeter.

And I'm definitely more of a hobbyist welder but finishing up a day with some sonorous air is very pleasant. I remember this one day cleaning up my workbench and listening to this song and everything was perfect...
I usually like higher energy stuff while working, and in general I guess. Lots of rock, some weird electronic stuff too, but this is another good work song for me
