never worked in a team before (at least not for a game, just for stuff like zine projects where everyone did individual illustrations) but that sounds like a good way about it.
we made a few things, one of them was a little gardening game many years ago now (heres a link) I did the pixel art and music, one guy did the programming, one guy did the illustrations and other artwork, and we all planned the game out as a group and made it in like 2 or 3 days.

submissions are in! lots of cool stuff

ended up not participating since learning godot was taking me more time than just a month :p ah well, many jams ahead.
making games is tough. I did a few game jams before but only ever as an asset designer and occasional bg musician. I was in a small team and we would have sleepovers and get a bunch of junk food, it was like a little party. basically I think you should party to get your games on the road lol, was good experience

nothing comes to mind this very second, but if you like surreal animation I really love the beatles Yellow Submarine movie. Obviously has a great soundtrack too lol. Its much more 70s psychedelic surreal but similar enough. Maybe I just have some nostalgia since I grew up watching that. If I think of anything else I will definitely let you know!

LOOOOOOVE INTERFACE!!! Safe mode is cool as hell too. Love the art direction, cool soundtrack, cool story. Years ago in school I made a little clay pumpkin with a face inspired by Mischief. Got retweeted by Umami at the time, it was pretty awesome. Ill try to find that pumpkin and post a photo at some point
